Fresh Hatch Green Chile

The delivery was prompt, with enough notice of shipment so that I could be prepared to roast them as soon as they arrived. Out of the entire 25 pound package there was only one spoiled chile! The peppers were larger than what was on offer in any of my local grocery stores!

The barred Chiles are as usual, very good. The fresh showed up in good shape and roasted easily on the Weber. I couldn’t clean them the day I roasted them so I left them bagged until the next morning and they peeled easily and completely. We usually get the Big Jim mediums, but the store said they had Chargers this year so we tried them. Meaty, as big (bigger?) than the Jim’s, and a bit less hot than usual. We’re very happy wth them. We have family members who can’t take as much heat as we prefer.

everything was great, amazing heat, weighted it and the box was 8 oz more than 10 lbs, only 2 cracked peppers none had rot. thanks!! especially after all those floods glad the crops got shipped out.
