Summit Men's Heated Beanie

I wouldn't purchase this again without some changes. I'm not unhappy enough to ask for my money back, but there's many areas for improvement. First, make the power button function like your jackets and hoodies. After already having a jacket, a hoodie, and the baselayer top, I found the operation of the button not intuitive. I find the 3 bar setup more intuitive over the 3 colors. What does green even mean for a setting? At least I know 2 bars is between (3) high and (1) low. The light doesn't stay on, I couldn't even look back and see what setting it was on without hitting the button, which is awkward to do without removing the hat. I thought the hat was broken. Put in a bigger battery. I would take two of the small batteries if it was an option and live with the added weight, bulkiness. The lifespan was so short, that again, I thought the hat was broken. I thought surely, it can't be dead already. And it was in fact. Running the hat on anything other than high provided very little heat. High was good warmth though. This means I will have to charge it every time I want to use it, and even then it likely won't last the whole time I wear it. Give us a indicator light on the battery so we know what the heck the charge is or when it's done charging! Now, you have to plug it in and just leave it for such a long time that you hope it will surely be at full charge by the multiple hours you left it. Styling- I knew it when I bought it, but the excessively large patch on the men's hat is tacky. I wish it was smaller. My gf has the ladies version and it has much less obnoxious branding. Battery pouch- very tight fit trying to get the battery in and out of the zippered pocket. It's actually a little frustrating trying to wrestle the tiny battery in and out. Needs a little more room. The zipper needs to be slightly longer. If you made these changes to a future hat, I would buy the new one and throw mine in the trash.

Beanie is a loose fit and battery pack feels heavy in back of head, also battery charger and battery have no charge indicators and neither use usb connectors

Seems to work as intended, haven’t had any real cold weather to really test it. The only complaint I have is that there is no battery light or indicator when charging to tell when it’s fully charged.
