Great for cleaning and disinfecting
TL DR: Most cost-effective way to use this is for a final wipe down and disinfection of non-heavily soiled, high-traffic areas. There's a difference between a 'clean' surface and a 'disinfected' surface. Some of the interior cleaners and quick interior detailers do a good job of cleaning, but not necessarily disinfecting. Stronger APC could be used for disinfection, but they tend to leave behind a chalky residue. This combines the best of both: It cleans well, but also disinfects, and does not leave behind any residue. This product is on the expensive side. My advice is to do the bulk of your cleaning with a more cost effective interior cleaner (like P&S Xpress Interior). After you have a clean surface, spray one or two pumps of Gtechniq Tri-Clean on a low pile towel, and go over the high traffic areas (steering wheel, interior handles, window switches, seat bolsters, etc.). Then, flip the towel and lightly buff. You can now apply your favorite protectant. Note: The smell, while slightly chemical, is not unpleasant. Its honest about what this product does which is to gently disinfect. You wouldn't trust a product to kill microbes if it smelled like bubblegum...
