Great guitar, great service

Being in lockdown everything's a bit messy, but the Richard's team was very pleasant to deal with, albeit phone only. The guitar included a free setup which was done very well--intonation and action all perfect - no buzzing or other anomalies. The guitar is fantastic, really a great instrument -- I've never owned a compound radius neck -- but really like it. It's noticeable, but not at all awkward to play. Also a matte finish on the 'back' of the neck which is great. The pickups are great; they sound like what you'd expect, but that's a good thing. The tone control is good, very progressive, not a simple on/off type pot. Overall fit/finish is high quality, it's as nice as my Dusenberg at 1/2 the price. I'm very happy with it.

Another great experience with Richards Guitars. Beautiful, beautifully well-built guitar. Made even better by the discount because of a scratched scratch-plate (but surely that’s what it’s for!). Arrived promptly and tremendously well packaged. Sounds like heaven even with my ham-fisted attempt at making it sing. Can’t fault it. Thanks again to Richard.
