The Colors = Amazing But...
So. I have several collections of water-based ink brush pens. Marvy's reds and purples are truly the best colors - values, hues, intensities. Just lovely, rich, interesting, and different from the other major brush marker companies. I really appreciate Marvy's reds -- so much beauty in reds that have a range of bases (blue, red, orange). In fact, I have bought triples of my favorites! I have two complaints about Marvy Le Plume II. 1) the felt tip can, even in a brand new marker, be frayed and 'soft', lacking the nice firm point I'd prefer. 2) in this batch, two of the pens had a very very long tip/nib...so long that it got bent when I tried to put the cap back on after swatching it.
