Wine Red Marilyn Bespoke Dress | Modern Chinese Wedding Dress

Im so happy with my order! The dress is such good quality and I love the deep wine red color. Ive always felt like I didn’t look in the traditional “Chinese red” color so Im thankful I had an alternative option. Submitting my measurements was thankfully pretty straightforward. I didn’t have a professional tailor but I had my mom help me. The dress fits perfectly; my body is tricky because I’m wide in my shoulders, small in my chest and wide in my waist. Thus, I usually have to size up based on the waist but it always leaves my top looking weird. Just as a small note, if I had tried on a sample beforehand, I may have asked for the slit to be placed slightly higher than the standard 40 cm because the slit falls in this weird position near my knees when I’d rather it land in the middle of my thigh. But this is a minor detail. Also, I would suggest adding 2-3 more cm (at least) for the collar! Otherwise, you might feel like it’s pressing against your neck. But this boils down to personal preference as well, I just really hate the feeling of something pressing against my neck. Overall, Im in love with my dress and I can’t wait to wear it on my wedding day! 7 more months!

I was initially hesitant with ordering a dress online but the east meets dress team answered all my questions in a timely manner and I was able to get my dress on time!
