Read the manual
When reading through reviews of the cubietime clock on Amazon I was worried by multiple negative reviews that mentioned inability to set the correct time or have the alarm time be other than 6am. I downloaded the manual and found simple explanations for all the settings and had no problem at all. I can set the correct time, set up a routine alarm time that is not 6am, adjust for daylight savings time automatically or manually as I wish. This is a great clock and also a great charging source at the bedside. I managed to get rid of a lot of cable clutter. It is solidly built and uncluttered by multiple controls. There are two buttons inside the battery compartment that you can choose to use or not after you read the manual!
