Does exactly what it should

After installing longer shackles I noticed the factory hangers were bending and opening up. Installed the MORE brackets and have zero issues. Pairs well with their steering gearbox bracket too

CJ7 Shackle Hangers

New to me 81 CJ spring hangers were tweaked, much more obvious after replacing springs and shackles. I ordered these based on forum recommendations. I installed the one badly needing replaced the day they arrived. They fit in place of the OE perfectly, are much better trussed and will surely be much stronger. Het some penetrating oil on those bolts today if you intend to order. I had been doing so for a week prior to starting but the second one still hasnt been done because one of the bolts didn't want to work out of there. If the nut welded into the frame comes loose you will be in for a much bigger job. If the bolts come out them the swap is quite easy.
