Great to use for camping in primitive areas and just to have on hand for any "emergencies".

Not exactly the intended usage for this product, but we used it in our camper's toilet for "too cold to walk to the bath house" nights. We simply lined the toilet with the enclosed bags, added a couple of gel packets, and had no problems! Can't speak for #2, but it was the #1 solution for #1!
