It was so much easier to fill and treat the water than I thought. It did take about 4 hours to fill all of the bags. Be very careful when you pull the hose out of the container so you don’t get water on the cardboard boxes! So watch closely. I dried the boxes out and then taped them. They stack 2 high effectively. Very efficient system.

5 Year water storage

I love the idea of the boxes being so strong and the double Mylar bags and spouts. Also the water treatment bottles to make the water good for 5 year storage. I can only give them a 99.9% rating since I was missing one spout.... but I bet if they see this review they will send me 1 or 2. Thanks, Dennis

Easiest, and Best Price per Gallon

I've used one other type of water storage system like this kind and I much prefer this one. Price per gallon of water that you are able to store is excellent, better than anything else I have found. I love that it comes with a kit to not only easily fill up the water bags but also treat the water. Unlike the other brand I used in the past, this kit can be filled up with the bags sitting inside the boxes. This was a huge plus- I have a bad back and don't want to lift them. The boxes were very sturdy. I weighed the boxes to see if I had filled them to about 41 pounds (which is 5 gallons) and I was good to go. It was very easy to not get water outside of the bags and any drops could easily be wiped up. I find these easier to store than a bigger container of water. I also think the bags that sunlight can't penetrate are very important. I filled these up in bedroom bathrooms and stored them in bedrooms.
