VDG-92 VARIABLE TONE DEER GRUNT CALL

I liked the call... It's very light it's very simplistic... I don't believe it will freeze easily... I used it probably four times because what I normally use, but have been looking for other options, is a primos Magnum grunt roar which is a very deep grunt call and the lack of experience with the Haydel made me switch between the 2... So I purchased the Hadel to kind of offset the Magnum Roar and do scenarios of bucks fighting or two different males competing over a female etc....I use some rattling in those scenarios as well... And I had no results this year... but I will come back next year and also leave a review or try and edit this review to accommodate a whole archery season in PA ... I could only give it three Stars based on the limited time I used the call ...The normal grunt sound it makes ,to me, is a 5 out of 10 ,6 out of 10... When you cover the hole on the call ,to increase the depth ,I would up the grunt sound rating to a 7, 7.5 out of 10... Once I have a full season using the call I will come back and make that full review. Haydel emailed me and asked me to write the review on the call ...so I can only rate it based on the small amount of time I used it.... So I won't give it a 5 star review because it didn't produce great results and I won't give it a negative 1 Star review because I don't know that it produced negative results either...A full archery seasoned using the call will determine the true rating!
