Its a described. Shipping was quick. I did do research to see if this was best for me. I think you should do as well, before purchase. My mattress, that I purchased less than a year ago, was too firm to me. This mattress topper was the relief my back needed.

Chat GPT told me this is what I needed and was right! The standard firmness gives my back and hips just a little more cushion than my mattress without allowing me to sink in causing more pain. So good cushioning and good support.

We bought the soft latex mattress topper to go on top of our new ultra firm mattress to create our own version of a pillowtop. This was the best decision we've made. This topper adds an amazing layer to our bed, and my sleep has never been better. We love the responsiveness of the topper, while still feeling like we're sleeping on a cloud. The topper fluffed up very quickly and while we didn't notice a strong smell, we did let it air out for a couple of hours before making our bed. We have a cover over it and the mattress, and it is the ultimate experience. I would absolutely recommend this topper, without hesitation!
