Crisp & Cool Percale Sheet Set - Extra Deep Fitted (22-Inches)

First time with percale …

I was always a sateen girl but I wanted something cooler for summer and these did not disappoint! I washed them and pulled them right out of the dryer so they didn’t wrinkle. Cool, crisp and good looking too. AND - they easily tuck under my extra thick king adjustable mattress. That’s a first!

Better than expected!

I have a 16" hybrid pillow top mattress with a urethane foam topper covered with a mattress protector. It's approaching a 20" stack. My sheets are so generously sized as to fit comfortably over the whole thing. They sleep much cooler than the bamboo viscose sheets I had. I'm pleased with my purchase.

My long and arduous search is now over

I cannot tell you how many hours I’ve spent researching sheets, ordering sheets, and sending sheets back. I now know everything there is to know about sheets. I finally decided I wanted percale, but I needed extra deep pockets which was an impossibility because 99% of sheets are made with a maximum of 18” pockets. I then found Egyptian Linens and my 22” deep pocket percale sheets. I was ecstatic and a little nervous that they wouldn’t live up to what I was hoping for. I got them yesterday, I washed and dryer on the delicate cycle. I put them on my bed, and they fit beautifully. The last set I got from Wamsutta and I followed the washing instructions to a T. They shrunk so badly, I couldn’t fit them on my bed. The percale sheets I received from Egyptian linens are perfect. No shrinkage. They feel great against my skin. They are cooling. I’ve already ordered another set. I would recommend these sheets. They are not sateen so they are not as soft and slippery but they’re crisp and cool which is the way I like them. And, from my research I learned they get softer with each wash. Hooray, I’m done. No more sheet shopping!
