Beautiful but absorbs water and leaks

I love the look of these vases and have kept dried flowers in them for some time now. However, when I filled one with water for fresh flowers, I noticed pretty quickly that the outside of the pot was moist all over and slowly leaking water. In short, it doesn’t hold water. Very sad about this.
