Lovely budget halter

Halter looks great and cleans up nicely. Lining is soft and bright. Love the coloured stitching - bright and unique! Hardware is good and sturdy. Leather is decent, needs to be conditioned regularly to be soft and to stay durable. Good range of adjustability. Size: a 16 hh Trakehner stallion wears a Large/Full/Horse. XL/OS/Warmblood is too big all over. A wee bit narrower than expected, not quite as robust-feeling as higher price point equivalents (FSS, Perri's) I have used. Arrived quite stiff, needed heavy oiling to soften, even just to adjust. Padding, while nice and bright, doesn't quite feel like real leather. Nevertheless, this is a WELL-SERVING, WELL-PRICED and, most importantly, READILY-AVAILABLE in Canada halter of the colour-padded leather type. Great for daily use! Still, if holding power is a concern, you might want heavier leather.
