Great for efficient grommeting

We have been using this machine for a few days now and it has been working well. We are making swatch books for our designers and this punches a fold over card and fabric sample easily. The machine requires you purchase the machine specific grommet as there is only a one-piece grommet used. The small end punches through the fabric and the impact as it hits the hard surface of the machine cause the grommet to bend around on itself, hold it in place. The machine auto-feeds the grommets into a chute and a foot petal causes the machine to punch. We are starting with an initial quantity of 3000 pieces to be punched and feel this will do the job well. The more you familiarize yourself with the operation of the machine the quicker the process goes. 2 drawbacks - The first is that the cover to the hopper where the grommets are added is strapping tape. No plastic cover was included. For almost 1000 dollars a cover would be nice. Secondly, we had a foreign grommet mixed in with the bags we ordered and it caused a jam in the hopper chute. Fixing the jam required removing some of the screws that hold the hopper back onto the machine. Now we visually inspect everything before it goes into the hopper.
