Gateway Drum Smoker® STRAIGHT UP 55G - Matte Black

Bought one last minute

I realized little late in the game that my team needed another drum smoker. Being a team that has 2 gateways we knew we needed an additional one. The only problem we had was it was cutting it too close for the american royal bbq competition. So 5 days before leaving for the bbq competition I ordered one and picked it up the same day. We had to take it to KC while it was still in the box, once we got there we opened it up and assembled it with in 10 min. As soon it was assembled we fired it up right away so we can season it real quickly. With no hesitation, this bad boy ripped to 300 and stayed at 300 degrees for about 4 hours without issues (would have stayed longer, but it was seasoned enough). Straight from the box, it ran like a champ with no issues. If you're like me who has hesitation to buy don't hesitate just buy one you'll love it.
