Light it up

We bought the shade (made of Finnish maple) separately then used a Color Cord 3-stalk set to light it up! Everything worked great, the pieces fit perfectly and the instruction videos on the website were really well done and helpful. Makes me wanna look for other projects to do 😎

Two problems

I ordered a few pieces to mock up a lighting fixture I am designing. However, I ran into two problems: First, one of the pieces that I ordered was mis-threaded or had another issue that wouldn't allow the 1/8 IPS tubing to thread into the junction. I tried to contact them about this, but haven't heard anything back in a week or so. Second, one of the pieces came with 1/4 IPS threaded nipple tubing in one side (Thread Ready Canopy Conversion Kit). However, I need a longer piece of tubing for my design. I basically had to destroy the piece to remove the nipple tubing which they had apparently glued in place.

Great light, slightly overpriced

I love the light fixture that we ordered. If ordering a monochromatic light fixture, the price is a little high vs similar fixtures from other manufacturers. I understand this aligns with the modularity and options available, and it's totally worth it for the customizability. It's a little harder to justify the cost when ordering a light with only one finish on the whole thing, when comparing to alternatives.
