Classic 1973 Formula Shu Pu-erh
It came with a very beautiful paper wrapping and authenticating seals. The tea is smooth and dark. It compares well with some of the very expensive Puer tea that I tasted in Hong Kong.

An auspicious pu erh
One of my favorite of Mei Mei’s terrific choices. I prefer shu to sheng pu erh and this one hearty enough to remind me of when I used to drink coffee. No it does not taste like coffee. Delicious on its own. Just bracing and satisfying.

Nice ripe pu-erh
I’ve discovered that I’m not a great fan of ripe pu-erh, but this cake is a great example of the genre. Very nice vanilla notes on the nose and overall very smooth and melllow.
