CEIKA Custom Coilovers for Mercedes-Benz S-Class W220 (98~06)

Better than airmatic.

I replaced the airmatic system with these coilovers on my 2000 W220 Mercedes S500 and I was concerned that it wouldn't be as comfortable of a ride, but they far exceeded my expectations. I ordered the 16K on the front and 10K on the rear with the helper springs and I don't notice much difference at all. I think the handling around corners is better also. Also, when going down ramps, the coilovers don't compress too much so the front doesn't scrape on the ground as much as before, even though its lower than before. Customer service was very helpful when ordering and I will be buying any future coilovers from Ceika.

Very happy with the ride. Quality of the locking nuts could have been better. I was afraid lock nut threads might strip if I over tightened them.

I like these coil overs. Installation was easy and they fit perfectly fine like OEM. The ride is very smooth. I am still adjusting the rebound to get the perfect ride for all situations. An overall very good alternative for when my airmatic shock started leaking.
