Alphonso Mango Tree (Grafted Mango Variety from Florida)

A slight set back

The tree had to travel most of the way across the country and spent six days within a box. It arrived and seemed to have had its roots damaged during shipping, the tree was only staying in the soil because it had been tied to the supporting stick. I placed the tree outside in direct sunlight when I received it, watered it every other day, then within five days the leaves had all browned before falling off. The tree has survived and pushed out new leaves, it has also grown around 4-5 inches compared to the ~2 inches of the other mango trees I had purchased. I believe that the issue was caused by shipping and handling it, the tree seemed well packaged, but if it had been roughly handled it may have damaged the roots. Overall, the tree is now doing well! I would consider buying more trees from Everglade Farms, but I don't really have the space to keep more mango trees. :(

Very happy with my new mango tree. Even though it won’t sprout fruit for a few years… it’s a journey I look forward too. Along with my avocado tree I purchased earlier this year from Everglades farm.

Already has a new set of leaves and doing great thank you for the great quality that you sent me still looking for a yellow Florida peach
