I already had the delrin version, which I reviewed two years ago. My previous review still stands. In the meantime, though, I had switched to the Bullitt shift knob, and it seemed to me that a white shift knob didn't look quite right with a black reverse collar, which is why I decided to give the aluminium one a try. I'm happy I did. The delrin piece is beautiful, but the aluminium one is really in a class of its own. It looks and feels gorgeous. This time, having had the experience I told you about in my previous review, I didn't try to pull up on the shifter surround for fear of breaking it again. I removed the entire centre console cover (using the instructions from the Tri-Ax shifter) and pushed the clips from below. Worked like a charm.

Gutes Upgrade und einfacher Einbau

Bis auf leichte Kratzer, die ich aber wegpolieren konnte bin ich sehr zufrieden. Funktioniert einwandfrei und fühlt sich deutlich besser an, als das Serienteil.

Suggestions for Installation

The product is as good as I invisaged but the tie wrap supplied is too wide, making it impossible to achieve the connection with the gear box. I had to use a much thinner one to connect it It is advisable to apply some crease to the tube to avoid friction with the white washer on the gear stick
