I really like the size and feel of the striker. The piece of flint has a nice flat side that sits comfortable in my hand and has a steep sharp edge on the other end that easily creates sparks from the striker. Very satisfied. Thanks Townsends!

Feeling a real connection to history

Saw this on a video and ordered a set to play with. Delivery was fast and with just a little practice was able to start a fire with some char cloth I made per another video. The flint is a good size to hold on to and the shape of the steel (even for my large hands) was perfect to protect my knuckles.
