convenient vertical bag

I am going to test-use this as a bag for holding my EDC pistol, a 3-inch Colt King Cobra. (I chose the larger size bag.) I like the fleece interior, which is good for preventing scratching of delicate items you might have inside. Besides the revolver, I can also fit in extra items like a small wallet, cell phone, brush or comb, handkerchief, pads, etc. However, the material is kind of soft and saggy, so it's not the best at holding small, heavy objects where weight might be focused at one point, like the barrel of a revolver. It definitely provides less support than my canvas material bag I bought from China that I was previously using. I am improvising and putting a folded cotton handkerchief at the bottom for more support so the barrel is not putting so much direct pressure on the fabric. The upside of this type of fabric is that the bag is washable. I would love to see Tough Traveler make a version of this bag with a tougher exterior and more support.

My large wallet and phone fit perfectly. Very comfortable to go for walks.
