Each lid is cut from 3/8" optically clear polycarbonate and screened with clear mesh that keeps livestock in without blocking light. Choose 1/4" clear, 1/8" clear, or 1/4" black mesh when you configure

Looking at the main picture, it was not made apparent that the lid is essentially an elastic mesh. If that wasn't bad enough, the border didn't meet all the way around.
