Orbita is a very versatile instrument. It can create Euclidean rhythms, which means one drum sound could repeat in 16 steps, another in 15, and the third in 11, which then will result in ever shifting polyrhythmic patterns. The circle in the GUI makes that quite easy. Orbita includes many kits, and other sounds (e.g. found sounds) which could make you go way beyond standard drum patterns. You can even modify each kit sound regarding pitch, attack, decay, or reverse it, or apply LFO modulation to certain parameters. This is all to say that this one is very inspiring, and great fun to play with. I definitely want to recommend it: go Orbita(l)!

Oh I Do Like a Bit of Euclidean

AudioThing's implementation makes Euclidean Drum/Sample sequencing very accessible And flexible. I wasn't gonna at first but upon reflection I'm glad I did 👍

Rhytmic Toy

I've been using AudioThing's plugins for a long time. I especially like its special effects and noise generators. This Euclidean drum machine is a new color on the palette. Your rhythmic ideas are played by a simple built-in sequencer. You can assemble any drum section you want from a sufficient number of sound samples organized into sound banks. But you can also build user banks from your own sound samples. Many parameters can be edited on the fly - generating diverse sounds.
