Shield Sticker seems durable and official

It seems to be made of a good quality vinyl and will hopefully handle the weather after a year or more. I think it would be better if two improvements were made honestly. The font used in the words “Protected By” were a little fuzzy most likely because of the size and style. Secondly, I personally would prefer the adhesive to be on the printed side to stick on the inside of glass windows facing outward to prevent from getting exposed to weather and to possibly prevent it from getting peeled off as easily.

DSC Alarm Replacement

I purchased an 18 zone Konnected system to replace my existing alarm system. Following the instruction on the Konnected site made the process of physically replacing my old system easy. Since the old system had 21 contacts wired into 6 zones, I wanted to split all of the zones into individual contact zones with the Konnected kit. Unfortunately, I found that one zone had the wiring for all of the contacts end in the attic and only one wire down to the alarm control panel making it impossible to split that zone into individual zones. The entire installation went smoothly until I had to connect the Konnected zones to the Hubitat hub that I chose. The instructions to accomplish were not at all clear. Perhaps, I chose the wrong hub. Would definitely recommend using the Konnected hardware to convert an existing alarm system into an Internet based system.
