Great Finishing Stone

Excellent straight razor finishing stone. For the money and performance, one of the best finishing stones out there. I use this stone with water only (no slurry), followed by under running water, then with soapy water. Under running water the feedback is super velvety and the stone gets sticky like a great coticule. Gives refined keen edges under the microscope. Based on microscope images, I can verify this stone is in the 10k-12K range. Shaves are crisp, smooth with no irritation. Definitely a great option for finishing a razor.

So far I’m really pleased. For the money can’t beat it. It really helped the edge on a few of my razors. After touching up with this stone and some time with the strop I had a very nice shave. I did flatten it but wasn’t too far off. my wife liked the color so that helps.
