Just what I needed

This we just what I needed. I attach it to a boom cymbal stand and it can do double duty as a gong or bell tree holder. I don’t use those items often but when I do I’m glad to have this bracket!

Great Attachment for Portable Gonging!

Just used a couple of these for an overnight retreat in the mountains with my family in the Philippines. Was able to bring two 24”-26” Gongs and make two gong stands out of a bongo stand and a midi controller stand with an additional cymbal boom attachment. The gong adapter works great, and I can even hang some chimes on it once I put my gongs away. Very clutch addition to my portable setup, and will come in handy when i’m on tour with various artists and also traveling with my sound bath gear. Previously I had to bring a dedicated gong stand for my 32” Saturn, but now I’ve downsized my sound meditation tools for this tour since i’m bringing other instruments (drums, guitars, midi controllers, sound equipment, etc), and traveling via different transportations between islands (planes, cars, trains, boats, etc). I’m gonna have a handful of these everywhere I go now because it’s much much more common to find a cymbal stand while traveling than other gong specific hardware. That way I can just backline cymbal stands and convert them if I need to! I will recommend these to my students I train, especially those who anticipate traveling, and those who are looking to experiment with adding a gong into their existing performance rig.
