Chipperfield HCS870 Petrol Scythe-Bar Mower — 87cm, 196cc Loncin Engine

Pleased with this mower in the first few try-outs. Seems to cope with most challenges. Had to adjust the cables to get the cutting bar and self-propulsion going as required but the manual did say that was to be expected. I hope the non-metallic parts hold up well. We'll have to see.

Incredible stuff!

This machine is incredible. It's a beast! It really does cut straight through bracken and thick reeds like they're not there. I am incredibly pleased with it. Putting it together nearly broke me though!

Flimsy and erratic

Instructions foe assembly and diagrams nog great. Cutting bar erratic on off. Sometimes starts cutting without safety catch. Metal skids bent on first use. Poor quality for money Will be seeking refund
