Cotton Mix Midi Dress

Too Big!!!

I followed the sizing chart and reviews. It said go up one size from your normal size because it fits small. So I bought an XL, and it was enormous on me. At least two sizes too big. I returned it, but the tax and shipping are money that I lost forever. The cut and fabric were nice. However, I thought the fabric would feel different. It was a soft thick fabric, and I was hoping for something stiffer and lighter. Essentially it feels like a Winter (in the N. Hemisphere) dress. I personally dont think I'll buy it again. I just dont want to chance it and losing another $45 purchasing the wrong size.

First purchase from Odd Muse. Pleasantly surprised.

This is my first purchase from odd muse. I always see their reels and posts and have just been skeptical due to all the marketing. Can a basic polyester piece of clothing be worth hundreds of dollars?? Yes. Yes this dress is. AND I need them to do a restock for the white/ivory color way in large or extra large as a size 8/10 US girlie. I am usually a size 8-10 or large in US sizing for dresses and while it fits everywhere else it is very snug on the waist. Which is intentional. This dress is designed to give you curves. I would size up. But needless to say, it is thick material, well made and I’ll have this dress as a staple for a very long time. More dresses like this please! Simple, timeless, LONGER length than minis, can be dressed up or down, no buttons (amazing cause I hate the felt cloth buttons on other items. It looks cheap). This dress is a WINNER.
