I use them during dog training, AKC field trials AND hunting. I have used various brands. These have been the best for durability and even water resistance for my boots and lower legs. They also are not too warm in moderate temps. Bought a second pair. Also had 2 friends each buy a pair. Nice durable zipper and boot strap. I walk on gravel and rough terrain and through briars. One year of HARD USE has not even shown any wear on my first pair. The large pair fit nicely and it seems the sizing chart is accurate. Just make sure to measure the circumference with your boots on as a double check on the size/measurement guidelines.
