Sun Hat Sewing Pattern — 3 Head Sizes 51/56/63cm, Reversible | AVA MAY (PDF)

This pattern is so quick and easy to make up. Just one piece of fabric. Makes up into a nice shape. I made the medium size first but it did come up a bit big. The small size was more true to size so I made the small one again but cut it just a bit bigger and it was a good medium size.

Sizing was a little bit off as hat came out too big. I measured twice and was a definite medium according to pattern sizing but finished article was too big. That said everything else was as stated, it is beginner friendly and I was intrigued how it would come together just with 2 circles of fabric but it is quite cleverly done. I didn’t use interfacing but I would definitely use it next time just to give some structure to the hat. Enjoyed making this.
