Espresso Aoud

Unusual and wonderful

I don’t think I’ve come across the combination of coffee and oud before but it works! This is blended beautifully and the sweetness added to these two key ingredients makes the composition sing.

The best coffee fragrance on the market, hands-down

When I first heard of this, I was very taken by the description of it and when I finally got my nose on it and smelled it and sampled it, I’ve had at least six people within the first hour of working asked me oh my God, man what is that you have on and I tell them and they all want to have a bottle this is a 10 out of 10 fragrance and at last all day long

More in line with the Aoud range than Extraordinaire

Having most, if not all, of the Aoud range, I grabbed this as I thought it sounded very me. Luckily it arrived with a 2ml sample so I could test just in case. It opens up with a very intense blast of coffee bean mixed with a slight powdery tinge, which is fine - think of it like a double espresso. Eventually after 15-30 mins it calms and then it becomes very much in the Amber/Musk Aoud vibe (I'd lean more Amber but YMMV). I can't easily tell longevity - mostly due to certain factors - but it was still detectable 6 hours later prior to needing a sleep and I do go smell blind relatively quickly, but I could still smell it then. I guess if you like the idea of coffee notes but like other Aoud's (Aoud/Amber/Musk) then this is very much in that vein.
