Pleasant surprise

I contacted Hecare prior to placing an order, to enquire about the suitability of another chair. They advised that the Phantom Fold would suit my needs better and while it didn't look as aesthetically pleasing as the other option, my practical side won. I was really pleased with the rapid delivery and the delivery updates. The chair was ready to go out of the box. Folding and unfolding is a doddle and so much easier than on my other chair that cost considerably more. The chair is for holidays/travel, so it hasn't fully been put through it's paces, but I have been for a trip around the local area and was pleasantly suprised with it's performance. The motors are not as powerful as my other chair, but you wouldn't know it in terms of the chair performance. I am looking forward to seeing how it handles on holiday where the roads and pavements are less than smooth....

The power chair arrived with minimal assembly required. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The power chair is lightweight and compact making it easy to fold down and put in the boot of a regular sized car. After charging for the first time I gave it a test drive. The chair is comfortable to sit in and the arms lower and raise to assist transfer . The chair uses a joystick to drive with speed options that can be adjusted to requirement. I used a low speed and found the joystick responsive and the chair very manoeuvrable, giving a smooth & comfortable move. I am very pleased with this purchase & it will be very good for trips to the hospital and similar where longer distances prevented me from using them without great effort and discomfort. Highly recommended!
