Roja Isola Snow
Isola Snow is one of the most unique fragrances Roja has released in recent years. Rather than chasing tropical beaches, citrus cocktails or sweet gourmand trends, it attempts to capture something far more abstract: the scent of fresh snow, crisp mountain air and a luxury alpine retreat. The opening is unlike anything else in the Roja collection. Bergamot and peppermint combine with an innovative “Snowflake Accord” to create an icy, mineral freshness that genuinely feels cold. There is an airy transparency to the fragrance that immediately evokes standing on a snow-covered mountainside under a bright blue sky. Within minutes, a beautiful pear note begins to emerge. The pear is not sweet or juicy in the traditional sense; instead it adds a cool, crystalline fruitiness that enhances the frozen atmosphere. Lily of the valley and rose float quietly in the background, providing elegance without turning the fragrance floral. What makes Isola Snow so fascinating is its texture. It feels weightless, almost transparent, yet remains surprisingly luxurious. The Hedione, Ambroxan and Cashmeran create an airy aura that surrounds the wearer like freshly fallen snow drifting through cold mountain air. As the fragrance develops, cypress, sandalwood, cardamom and soft musks begin to appear. The transition is seamless. The fragrance never loses its icy identity, but gradually becomes warmer and more comforting, like returning to a luxury ski lodge after spending the day outdoors. The dry-down is exceptional. Soft woods, musks and subtle amber notes create a clean, sophisticated skin scent that remains elegant for hours. It smells expensive in the way only Roja fragrances can—refined, polished and effortless. Performance is solid rather than beast mode. This is not a fragrance designed to dominate a room. Instead, it creates a sophisticated personal scent bubble that feels intimate, clean and incredibly modern. Rating: 8.0/10 Best for: Some say Autumn, winter and cooler spring days, however I feel that this is a versatile all year round fragrance which also works very well in the summer Occasions: Office, smart casual, luxury travel, ski holidays and everyday signature wear Age range: 25+ Performance: 8/10 Uniqueness: 9.5/10 Compliment factor: 8.5/10 Verdict: Imagine the freshness of mountain air, the sparkle of untouched snow and the comfort of a luxury alpine lodge wrapped into a single fragrance. Isola Snow isn’t loud, sexy or attention-seeking. Instead, it’s serene, sophisticated and quietly addictive. For those who appreciate refined fresh fragrances, it may be one of Roja’s most original creations to date.

White florals under the snow
Crisp and gentle as Swiss snow during skiing Easter weekend. It has a white floral dry down which makes it a bit feminine leaning. Still love this scent and will wear it in February/March in the Swiss mountains
