Swamp White Oak

These oak trees are growing very well in my bottoms along the river where soil is loamy dirt, with ocasional flooding. Second year since I planted and they grew almost two feet already. All 8 trees I purchased are growing great.

Shipped healthy, they all had foliage when they arrived and planted immediately, with tree tubes. Not sure what happened but most of the leafs are brown and I would say only 10-15 will survive. I wonder if it had anything to do with grown is MS and shipped to MI and our temps were in the 30’s when planted. Will probably buy local going forward as I cannot get 100 trees only to have 10-15 survive. Thanks

Swamp White Oak

These came right on schedule and well packaged. They've grown really fast already after only being in the ground a little over a 1 1/2 month so far. Even if the tree tubes don't show it too well. If you have to plant them in soil with high clay and rock contents they will still grow very fast.
