Amazingly good, an umami bomb!
When i saw that it is made by gyokuro instead of using tencha I was intrigued and got it immediately. It surely did not disappoint! The umami savoury taste matches the gyokuro taste profile I am familiar with and in a matcha it definitely shines through the milk and ice! This has a stronger flavour with a solid umami, nutty and balanced bitterness which I really like it.
I would definitely recommend for matcha latte and in a usucha it was a chef kissed. It makes me more interested in matcha from mie which normally i would not have associate this region with matcha and man it did a great job to make an impression!

Nutty, creamy, and so easy to enjoy
Tried Suigetsu for the first time as an iced soy latte and really enjoyed it! It tasted nutty and creamy, with a smooth, easy-to-drink profile that paired beautifully with milk. I also love that it’s actually a gyokuro powder prepared like matcha—it made this one especially interesting to try. Definitely something I’d happily reach for again!
