Elysium II by SULAYM is an immediate, radiant revelation. The moment its rich oil touches the pulse points, the florals unfold with striking clarity, like a lush garden awakening at the edge of a wild tropical paradise. Its palette is unmistakably purple: ripe exotic fruits, tart blackcurrant, and the creamy, nectar-like richness of ylang-ylang. The effect is joyful and sunlit, yet deeply refined—opulent without ever becoming obvious or simplistic. The true alchemy begins as the attar warms on the skin. From beneath the fruits and florals, precious oud slowly emerges: smooth, resinous, and quietly luminous, with none of the heaviness or medicinal sharpness sometimes associated with the material. As usual, Sulaym have absolutely smashed it with this revised release. Building on the beautiful first version, this scent is equally captivating and even more complex. The opening note is as unique as it gets, described by some as blackcurrant, some as mango - either way it's sweet and rich, settling into a more evenly-balanced incense profile. Really impressed by this gem!
