I haven’t made anything yet with this bundle but I am loving the contents. I received the orange option and although it is not a colour I would normally use I do actually like the fabric. The matching zipper and thread are perfect too and the interfacing is a really good size. Big thank you to Pound a Metre for letting me try this.

Item took a lot longer to come that expected The fabric and interfacing was good The thread did not match the fabric at all so had to use a different one in my kit The instructions were quite confusing for someone using zips for the first time, which lead to fully unpicking the project multiple times. It would be helpful to have more thorough instructions and/or videos & diagrams to support. The idea of the kits is good, it just needs some more attention to detail and refining.

I’m quite used to making zip bags, so I was keen to see how good this was for someone just starting. I thought the instructions were generally good but attaching the zipper might confuse a beginner. Picture/video link ? I did consider using using fusible fleece instead of the bonding sent, but decided it wouldn’t be in the spirit of the project ! Could be an option in the future ? I think you could be onto a winner with ‘kits’ especially if you also set up a You Tube channel to accompany the makes !! Julie
