Mostly perfect

Things I've loved: I love the multiple compartments for keeping work things, gym things, and the everyday carry. The interior of the outermost section has three zipped compartments, which I didn't realize from the pictures on the website. There are enough partitions that I can have a dedicated space for everything. (I didn't know I would so love having a space for hair ties.) I was torn between the gold and gunmetal, and I'm glad I ultimately opted for the gunmetal. Because the bag is nice without being showy, I don't feel self conscious about walking through a bad block the way I would with, say, an expensive tote. This bag works everywhere I want to go. Downsides I've found: 1. The straps are pretty wide and not very flexible; when I'm wearing it as a backpack, they're slightly too wide for comfort. I pull them in a bit and it works. I don't have any problem when I carry it as a duffle. 2. I'm always slightly worried by how close the water bottle is to the laptop; I double and triple check that the water bottle is tightly closed before I commute home. Overall, the biggest win is having a place for everything.

Worth the slurge

I decided to get this bag because I got a new job with more of a business-professional attire environment than my previous gig, and needed something nicer than my current bag that could hold my laptop, workout gear, and lunch/tupperware -- things I carry on an almost daily basis, but was struggling to fit into my 30L commuter backpack from Patagonia. I never spend this much on a bag, but tried the Studio 2 after reading the reviews. I've been using it for a month and can say it's definitely worth the splurge. The different compartments help fit all of my various items neatly without looking too bulky on my back, not to mention it still looks sleek and stylish (plus, I like that I had the option to buy it vegan!). Highly recommend if you are willing to spend the money.
