North by Northwest - Ochre

North by north west ochre is the usual high standard turtle mat that I love. However, I am only giving 3 stars because the colour description of this particular mat is so off the mark, I’m having to go through the all the faff of returning it. The mat is predominantly blue with a peachy colour within the pattern and if you squint you might see an ochre fleck! the border is a vague green/brown.

This is the first patterned style I've bought and I got one for the back door and just inside the front door. I love the muted look as I find some of the patterns a bit busy but not this! I thought the colours would be all green, brown yellow but there is actually quite a bit of blue in the design. However, it doesn't detract. I've yet to wash and use them purely because I have builders around - with dirty feet! Once gone, I'll be putting them in their new home.
