A quiet favorite

Recently "kitted up" for some father/son backpacking adventures out in the Blueridge mountains, and as one does—accumulated probably too many tools, trinkets, and gizmos. I don't even know that a ground cloth/chair/etc/etc was remotely on my radar, but I'll give props where props is due—Claude recommended it in a search for multifunctional pieces of gear that dedicated hikers relied on. Fast forward to our first trip, I was shocked by how useful it was. Clean spot to stage gear during setup, check. Staging area for boots, pots, and other quick grab needs, check. Firewood tote (HOLY YES), check. This was a rockstar piece of gear and maybe, even among some of the more niche/expensive items, rose very high to the top of my list. Thanks for making something so simple great, and I'll be back for more.

Waxed canvas ground cloth!
