While the magnets aren't as strong as I would have hoped, the blocks are the perfect size to stand alongside DnD minis and, assuming you have at least a general idea of what to build beforehand, assembling new maps on the fly is pretty simple. But I'm very tempted to buy again, if only to expand the possibilities of my 3d maps.

The blocks are really nice looking, and have some good detail, with several different designs for brick and stonework, and some wood and log details. The only issue I have so far is that the magnets don’t seem to be strong enough on some blocks, almost like some of them are missing or inert. Otherwise, they are a decent scale for RPG miniatures, and are easy and quick to set up and break down. I set up all 90 in a design with multiple levels in only a couple of minutes, and was able to break it down and put everything back in the box in about half the time. 90 blocks is good for making a few hallways and rooms, covering maybe 2-3’ in area, so if you don’t want to have to break down and build after a few encounters, I would recommend getting two sets. I’m only giving 4 stars because of the weak or inert magnets, which seem to only be on maybe half a dozen blocks at most.

Bought these for our DM for DnD sessions. We havent used them yet but when I showed them to him he loved them and is looking forward to using them. The magnets are really strong and hold together well!
