Copper Tongue Scraper

As a smoker I find this scraper removes alot of what builds up on your tongue. Very happy with it as it's got it's own storage tub and it is made well.

It does scrape well, it's nicely made, easy to handle and has a nice plastic storage case. However, it's not 100% copper, as it has some kind of coating to stop the copper from oxidising. While that will keep the tongue scraper looking nice and polished, it completely negates the point of using copper - which is antimicrobial! I'm sorely tempted to find a way to get the coating removed, I didn't buy a copper tool just to put plastic things in my mouth. Nice idea, though the coating is a complete let down and defeats the point in getting this.
