Walking into a women’s clothes shop as a man on a mission to buy matching dressing gowns for my wife and daughter could have been a dangerous undertaking. Thankfully the team at Scamp and Dude in Marlow turned it into an unexpectedly pleasant experience. The staff are genuinely helpful, patient, and have the rare ability to make even the most out-of-place bloke feel completely comfortable. They politely endured my very average humour, generously laughed at my predictable dad jokes, and guided me to exactly the right gifts without making me feel like I’d wandered in by mistake. For anyone shopping for the important ladies in their life, this is a great place to go. Friendly, relaxed, and full of people who clearly enjoy what they do. Excellent service, lovely products, and a welcome refuge for men armed only with enthusiasm and questionable banter. Highly recommended.
