A big disappointment

The quality of Oliver Sweeney (OS) shoes is never in question, however the sizing and the fit is so variable, I'm feeling delivery costs charged to the customer is harsh. Two different pairs of shoes from OS in exactly the same size can vary enormously in fit. And the customer has no way of knowing. I'm a standard UK size 8.5, my foot width is just on the narrow side of medium. I have a number of OS shoes 8.5 or 9 that are a good fit. Many are not, including these Espadrilles. These size 9s are fine on length, a comfortable width across the toe box, but they are so wide on the heel, there is room for someone else's foot, alongside!

These seem well made, time will tell. A normal width unlike a lot of the OS Summer range.

Sizing is large

All my Sweeney’s are size 9 (UK) and these were purchased in the same size but they are much larger than the others.
