While the original titanium and brass models have been my go-tos for years, I love these anodized aluminum editions (yes, I bought both the green and black) offer a lightweight alternative. These will be my everyday carry for jotting ideas and curiosities in my Field Notes going forward. And the customer service is top-notch. Buy it for life? Well, Silver Fox has a customer and fan for life.

The product is great, although I've given one less star because the aluminium is significantly lighter than the brass one, which to be makes is feel less premium. But if you want something lighter (without just carrying a mini sharpie) then this model is for you. Also worth noting that the threads have changed in this model, so you can't interchange components with the older models.
