Drawstring Skirt in Ottoman Embroidery

Beautiful Skirt

I’ve already gotten so many compliments on this skirt. Fits beautifully and the cotton is so soft. I’m around a size US 4/UK 8-10 and this with use of the drawstring, but I’m unsure how far it’ll go for bigger sizes. Colour is beautiful and the quality is excellent. I’ll definitely be looking at other pieces.

a special skirt

There is something about this skirt that sings. It sung to me from the photo the minute I saw it. The colour of course, there is that, a periwinkle, cornflower, forget me not, summer blue. The embroidered flowers are boho, fresh and simple but these are elevated from farm girl because of the fine white check that runs across the cloth. I'm not looking to show off a defined waist and so the drawstring suits me as there is nothing worse than feeling constricted or uncomfortable on summer days. I love it. For me, it is expensive, but a treat that I will look forward to getting out the wardrobe for years. This skirt is not one summer wear, its the real thing. xx
