Flat Silicone Lid Seal - T500 Boiler

I have an Still Spirits alembic dome. The dome comes with one of these seals. The first time was great but the second time a nightmare. The seal fell off every time I tried to put the dome on. So I purchased two more hence the review. These did exactly the same. So I contacted Still Spirits who told me to use a food grade silicon sealant to attach the seal. The seals fit fine on my T500 boiler lid.
